GateHouse Media, Inc. is looking for Senior Digital Sales Executives to drive sales expansion for our company. In this key role, you’ll report directly to the Corporate Director of Digital Sales with a dotted line responsibility to the local Ad Director. You’ll need top notch sales experience with over the top digital savvy to be the right candidate! You’ll also need to have a proven track-record in – and strong knowledge of – digital products including online, mobile, tablet, social media, apps, etc. We’re seeking creative marketers who understand the digital audience along with the prospecting and presentation skills for engaging that audience and closing the deal.
Analyze category/territory to develop new client opportunities
Direct the sales process, including prospecting, qualifying and positioning of GateHouse Media’s products and services
Lead new business generation and up selling of new and existing clients – both local and regional
Ensure delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and manage a weekly revenue forecast
Provide good customer service & follow through to maintain existing business to sustain long-term relationships
Extensive knowledge of social media and audience metrics
Create product segmentation strategies wherever needed to maximize sales opportunities across different digital sales channels
Skills and Specifications:
3-5 years of relevant experience in online sales and business development and digital marketing.
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Track record of achieving aggressive goals
