Mark R. Thompson
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Mark R. Thompson became our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in May 2006. He was formerly Chief Financial Officer of eToys Direct, Inc., an internet retailer and distributor of toys and gifts, from 2005 to 2006.
Mr. Thompson currently serves on the board of directors for the Inland Newspaper Association.
From 1999 to 2005, Mr. Thompson served as Vice President and Senior Vice President - Finance and IT with Crown Media Holdings, Inc., a public cable programming company with more than 100 million customers.
Prior to that, Mr. Thompson was the Controller of Hallmark Cards North America from 1995 to 1999.
From 1992 to 1995, Mr. Thompson served as the Corporate Controller of Crown Cable, a cable multiple system operator.
From 1990 to 1992, Mr. Thompson served in various positions at Hallmark Cards, Inc. in corporate financial reporting and internal audit.
From 1986 to 1990 Mr. Thompson was a CPA with the accounting firm KPMG.
Mr. Thompson holds master's and bachelor's degrees in accounting.
