Brad Dennison joined GateHouse Media Inc., in October 2006, and currently serves as Vice President of Publishing-Large Daily Division. Prior to this role, he served as GateHouse's Vice President of News & Interactive, in which he oversaw all aspects of the company's news and online operations, including content strategy, and online development and support. From May 2004 to October 2006, he served as Vice President of News for Birmingham, Ala.-based Community Newspaper Holdings Inc., owner of more than 90 daily newspapers. Previously, he held editing positions at theChicago Sun-Times, the Daily Southtown on Chicago’s South Side, The Augusta (Ga.) Chronicle, and various community newspapers in the Midwest and South. He has won numerous professional awards, including two national honors. Dennison was elected to the Associated Press Media Editors board of directors in October 2008 and is 2013 president of the organization. In addition, he has been a member of the Local Media Association Foundation board of directors since 2009. He has been a frequent speaker at industry and university events.
