Job Description

GateHouse Media, Inc., one of the country’s leading providers of local news and information, is seeking a Real Estate Channel Manager.

The Real Estate Channel Manager will collaborate with vendors to produce a highly effective real estate product for our audience and business customers, train sales representatives on how to effectively present online marketing solutions to customers, develop effective sales collateral and market pricing for real estate products and manage the launch of the real estate channel at GateHouse Media websites.

Requirements

• Vast knowledge of real estate and mortgage industries and advertising needs of those industries
• Order-entry level knowledge of classified front-end systems and MLS required. Technical knowledge preferred.
• Strong work ethic; self-motivated and be able to contribute creatively
• Excellent communication skills
• Serve as the chief online real estate marketing liason between GateHouse Media Inc. and its newspapers and clients
• Possess strong analytical, writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Strategic thinker, proven track record of driving significant revenue results in rapidly growing environment.
• Sales Management experience with large high-performing sales organization.
• 7+years in real estate industry, including 3+ years in management.
• Demonstrated ability to create and execute long-term sales strategy
• BA/BS required
