Job Description
GateHouse Media, one of the country’s largest publishers of local newspapers, is seeking Regional Recruitment Specialists to develop new business accounts by offering newspaper-affiliated Yahoo HotJobs’ recruitment tools to its customers. The Recruitment Specialist will develop and maintain a recruitment advertising account list, serve as a resource to local newspapers by sharing Yahoo HotJobs and local recruitment knowledge with Sales Managers and Sales Representatives and will report to the Interactive Recruitment Manager.
Responsibilities
- Cold-calling, developing new business
- Developing/presenting solutions-based advertising proposals
- Meeting sales targets and goals set by Interactive Recruitment Manager
- Accurate reporting, forecasting and trending for Yahoo HotJobs revenue for local newspaper(s)
- Drive Yahoo HotJobs sales in local region
Requirements
- Vast knowledge of recruitment marketplace and online job boards
- Media sales experience strongly preferred
- Proven, documented track record of successful media sales experience
- BA/BS required
- Up to 50% travel required
