Job Description
Gatehouse Media, Inc., one of the country’s leading local media companies, is seeking an Advertising Operations Manager to join the developing interactive team.
We are looking for enthusiastic people who want to be an integral part of this groundbreaking opportunity and who will help enhance growth company wide in the Interactive arena.
Responsibilities
The Operations Manager will oversee all support for the interactive advertising department. They will work closely with the Director of Interactive Advertising in developing procedures and tools to best serve our departments sales efforts and the needs of the properties we support.
Will contribute to and oversee the following:
- Provide support to all interactive sales efforts
- Creation and maintenance of project schedules and resource plans.
- Coordination of product implementations and release schedules.
- Production of advertising creatives
- Trafficking support
- Monitor/report product & advertiser performance
- Assist in implementation of new products
- Maintain and enhance existing products
- Manage national affiliate campaigns
- Research co-op advertising opportunities
- SEO
- Develop & support department Web Site
- Other duties as needed
Requirements
Ideal candidate will have management experience and strong customer service skills. Organization and attention to detail are a must. College degree preferred plus two years in a related position.
Newspaper background is preferred. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, Internet savvy & must have basic knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, graphic design applications including flash.
