GateHouse Media New England is seeking a Circulation Sales Manager

GateHouse Media New England is searching for a Circulation Sales Manager to lead our subscriber sales efforts for one of our clusters of daily publications and several regions of weekly paid publications. Combined, this position will oversee 4 dailies totaling 40K net paid circulation and 59 weeklies totaling 146K net paid circulation. This position will be based out of our Framingham office, which is located 20 miles west of Boston, MA.

We’re looking for someone that has a proven track record of growing home delivery volumes by executing aggressive start diversification efforts, including kiosk sales, direct mail, web site promotion, single copy inserts and targeted telemarketing. Weekly publication sales experience is preferred. Understanding how to effectively leverage our subscriber database to maximize sales resources is critical. We have an outstanding operational, editorial and marketing team currently in place along with the sales resources needed for growth.

In New England, we currently publish 9 daily publications with total paid circulation of 174K daily and 190K weekend, 111 weekly newspapers totaling 573K combined circulation, 8 Pennysavers with combined circulation of 82K, niche publications and over 150 websites. GateHouse Media, Inc. is one of the largest publishers of locally based print and online media in the United States as measured by number of daily publications.
