The Dover Post Company is looking for two talented reporters to join its weekly flagship newspaper, the Dover Post, and the Smyrna-Clayton Sun-Times, the oldest continually published newspaper in Delaware, also a weekly. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or English and at least one year of experience writing for a newspaper. Experience in Quark, page design and photography strongly preferred; good writing skills, grammar, news judgment and determination absolutely necessary. Beats will include town council, school board, features, business and anything else that comes along. Great benefits package includes health, dental, vision and life insurance, 401K, paid vacation and sick time. Located 1.5 hours from Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia and about 2.5 hours from New York City, Delaware is a growing state with lots of stories to cover.
