The Brownwood Bulletin traces its roots to two 19th century weeklies, the Brownwood Banner and the Brownwood Bulletin, and became the community's first daily newspaper in 1900. The Bulletin’s vision is to be the leading media organization for Brown County, by distributing engaging local content and effective advertising solutions.

Along with its print publications, the Bulletin updates its readers and community with news as it happens on its website, The Bulletin also publishes the weekly Heartland Trading Post shopper publication every Wednesday to more than 6,000 homes in the Brown County region.
