The Analyst will play a key role our evolution to drive innovation and efficiency in media operations and digital media analytics. The position will assist in the development of new tools and processes to maximize data utility and revenue retention. GateHouse Media is looking for an analytically minded, digital media analyst with strong technical capabilities.
The Analyst will be responsible for the following:

Translates data sets into actionable insights regarding opportunities to maximize revenue and page view growth.

Utilize web analytics, syndicated research and other data sources to demonstrate value of GateHouse solutions and develop deeper insights into users and their usage of digital media.

Deliver actionable, timely, and user-friendly analytical reports.

Identify, gather, integrate, analyze and present relevant data.

Produce regular and ad-hoc analysis to answer questions pertaining to the digital side of the business.
Qualifications:

BA/BS Degree Mathematics, Statistics, Business or other quantitative field preferred or equivalent work experience.

1-3 years of web analytic experience; experience in a media environment preferred

Knowledge of web analytics tools; data analysis and implementation along with an understanding of the online advertising industry.

Experience using data to develop business insights and recommendations.
The Analyst will be based in Needham, MA and report into the Director of Digital Strategy.
