Product Development Director

Gatehouse Media, a leader in providing news and advertising to local communities nationwide, is seeking a full-time Director of Product Development to assist in creating innovative and design-led digital products. This role is integral to the success of Gatehouse Media as this person will help to ensure that Gatehouse Media is a market leading digital-first organization. The Director of Product Development will be working alongside the Digital Team, as well as other teams within the organization to ensure that all objectives of product development process are met.

The responsibilities of the Director of Product Development include, but are not limited to:
* Leading the digital product development process to ensure the business delivers products that are both desirable and competitive
* Ensuring that product designs meet the strategic objectives of the organization
* Understanding the implications of macro trends and delivering a vision of what the digital future might be in the longer term in order to generate a sense of purpose and direction for the shorter term

The ideal candidate will possess the followings skills & qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Management or a related-field
* 5-7 years of proven, directly-related experience (digital highly preferred)
* Analytical problem solving
* Detail oriented
* Excellent leadership skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Team mentality

The Product Development Director will be based in the Needham, MA.
