Reporter

The State Journal-Register in Springfield, Ill., is looking for a reporter to provide coverage of the fast-growing and rapidly-changing suburban communities. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable with watchdog and enterprise reporting and who is adept and finding the human stories that are interwoven into the fabric of these communities. The ideal candidate is proficient at delivering news in print and online, and through the use of social media.

Candidates should have a four-year degree in journalism or related discipline, and have several years’ experience at a daily newspaper.
