GateHouse Media’s Propel Marketing acquires ThriveHive

270876_595692900443805_22386554_nGateHouse Media’s CEO Kirk Davis and Chief Revenue Officer and Propel Business Services’ CEO Peter Newton recently announced Propel Marketing’s acquisition of guided marketing software company ThriveHive. Based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the award-winning company’s platform aims to address the specific marketing needs of small businesses, and was founded in 2011 by four local entrepreneurs, including MIT Sloan School of Management graduates Max Faingezicht and Adam Blake.

Launched in 2012, Propel Marketing’s annual revenue now exceeds $31 million, driven by its best-in-class product and service offerings tailored for the nation’s 28 million small and medium size businesses, and the support of the GateHouse field sales organization.

ThriveHive will operate within Propel Marketing, with ThriveHive’s CEO Max Faingezicht reporting to Propel Marketing Chief Executive Officer Peter Cannone.
